Assessments & Moderation
The Programs of Assessment as load out by our academic leadership, correspond to the requirements prescribed by the Curriculum Assessments Policy Statement (CAPS).

In addition, Gen Z Cyber Academy undertakes comprehensive moderation protocols that are laid out in the protocols of assessment including the complete pre-moderation of the scripts (during the setting of examinations), through to post-moderation during marking.

Gen Z Cyber Academy's commitment to our registered examination board includes upholding our undertaking to create new assessments every year - none of which are reused.

We continuously assess learners via the online platform, using a combination of assessment tools. Some of these assessments can also be used in attaining the minimum outcomes standards.

In addition, for Virtual Online Schooling, parent are responsible for keeping a Portfolio of Evidence and for submitting that portfolio on a yearly basis. At Gen Z Cyber Academy, we assist with that process.

According to the policy, at the end of every phase (Grade 3, Grade 6 and Grade 9), the learner needs to write and exam under strict conditions. We assist with setting up and marking that exam. Our SACE registered teachers will stand in as invigilators via webcam.
